Would you start a new thread to explain what text in the PACE Act makes you think that only future F-4s will benefit from this? Feel free to cut and paste from the bill.
I'm sure PACE will go through many revisions -- it would be helpful to know what the fine print/nitty gritty is.
It is my understanding that the intent of PACE is to provide this benefit to all US STEM Advanced degrees.

OK...so your main interests for this lens are landscape, concert, and sports phototography. First off, when I say the lens is variable aperture from 3.5 to 5.6, that means at the low end f the zomm the aperture will be 3.5. At the long end (200mm) the aperture will be 5.6. The higher the number, the smaller the aperture. The smaller the aperture, the less light gets let in. When less light gets in two things happen, your shutter has to be open longer. and you get more DOF. This will effect your intended shooting situations. Concert photography requires large apertures (smaller f#s). So shooting with that lens in a concert setting will be difficult on the short end, and almost impossible the majority of the time on the long end. 5.6 will require a very slow shutter speed in that circumstance. Same for indoor sports. For landscapes and daylight work, you should not have a problem.....hope this helps a little.

At the present I only own the Kit lens that came with the D70 (AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED). So you have me at a disadvantage when you speak of limitations of a lens that goes to 5.6 on the long end. Basically I'm looking for a affordable zoom for landscape, concert and sport photography. I've read several favorable user reviews but then not knowing the source of these reviews you don't know if they also gave four and a half stars to a coke bottle. Reading through posts here on the forum I can tell who are the professional photographers by their equipment knowledge. So saying that there are opinions I would find more valuable than others. In a nutshell I have found the lens in question on Ebay at a current bid of 250 dollars. If I am correct this is half of what it lists for. I'd just like to know if it would be a good buy/good lens for a aspiring photographer to begin expanding his lens arsenal with.

The previous post reminds me of an idea for an "interpretive dance" from Whose Line... "Diarrhea, flows like a river." And may I ask... how much did you pay the webmaster to post that advertising? (pardon me and ignore this if the previous post is deleted).

Ask for the copies and doctor will give copies of all reports.

The other thing I don't understand is how come EB-1 and EB-2 which are current (for ROW) atleast can suddenly become U.
Did USCIS stop paying attention to EB-2 vs EB-3 classification?
How about country limits? Did USCIS give India more than 3K visas?
Also, aren't the visas released quarterly? So, how come the visas that were to be released in July, got consumed in June?

Can IV core put some light on -
Is there quarterly Visa spillover or its only at the end of every USCIS year (July-sept) ?
If NO, any way to add that in?

You are in H-1 status now as you applied for COS from H4 to H-1. So I am not sure if going for H4 stamping is still an option for you. I will let others weighin on this one.
Do you have AP instead? You can always come back on AP, doing so will not invalidate your H-1
I am not sure, if this is true. I knew couple of people got H1 approved and never start working. They remained only in status H4.
So check with attorney.

Hi Folks,
I had applied for AOS,EAD and AP for me and my wife on July 2nd.
I got my EAD, Finger Printing Notification, but my wife's application got returned on Aug 30th. I called USCIS after 3 months to find out status on her case and they said it was returned on Aug 30th which we haven't received so far. The reason for rejection was incorrect or missing check.:(
So, can please any one tell me if i can re-apply her case even though i did not get her application back?
Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.

There is no LAW that mandates this!......It's kind of a best practice thing - people usually recommend 6 months.

That is just plain impressive. I really didn't expect much improvement on this one. I just liked the way the sky changed colors at the rainbow. You can really see that now.

Gary, I think I did something similar. I couldn't tell if you masked it or not. In PS, I first selected all the sky with the magic wand, then expanded that selection 3 pixels, then put a 3 pixel feather on it, then inverted the selection so all the greenery was selected with a soft edge. I then put an adjustment layer bumping up the saturation. Finally, I filled the above selection with black on the adjustment layer's mask so the bump only applied to the sky. From there, it's a matter of taste for how much saturation is desired.

Whenever there is a tech system upgrade, especially of this magnitude, there are bound to have glitches, problems, etc...I wonder how smoothly the integration will go. Hopefully, all will be well and does not affect the productivity at CIS...The productivity is already so low at CIS...Hoping for the best...

Can someone please confirm if "Card Production Ordered" email from USCIS mean my 485 is approved and I have gotten GC ?
I have only got this "Card Production Ordered" email and not an email specifically saying "485 approved". How long does it take after "Card Production Ordered" email to get actual card.
Also if May bulletin is Unavailable it still means that GC;s issued if your date is current in April are valid ? My email came yesterday same day as the new May bulletin ?

The way I see it....You have an I797 approval till 2010. Once you have that, it does not matter on what basis it was received. The I797 approval does not say "Only valid until I140 has not been withdrawn" etc.
