I am not part of the founder org. but I am just shocked at the venom you show in all your messages.
Your goals so far has been
1. Complain and rant about things.
2. Discourage people for participating in IV.
3. Trying to do a "divide-and-conquer" within IV.
IV is for all legal EB based immigration - it is very clear in the mission statement what is its goal.
Also, even if IV was as myopic as you claim, future generations of EB immigrants wll benefit simply by virtue of the fact that people currently in line will not fight with them for GC.

I have been trying to book an infopass at Hartford office for the past one month. I been trying to every 2 hours for at least 8 times constantly every day.
Every time I get a message saying "No information appointment is available at this time. Please try again later" message.
Any body have this problem. I have been trying to get infopass since my EAD is going to expire and I am experiencing delay in EAD renewal process.

You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.
I hope so too and thanks for your reply. I am still confused. As far as I know, you are not supposed to send/submit any supporting documents with your LC application unless it is asked for in a later date.
Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?

Yes, it is possible that USCIS would reject the extension because the PERM was not filed 365 days before the end of six years. However, a rejection on this basis is clearly contrary to both the language and intent of AC21, and I believe, could be successfully challenged on appeal.

One more additional question on this, say we open a trading account now and we buy shares in 2008 , but do not sell it yet (meaning no income was made in 2008), then will there be any impact or any additional filing to be made for 2008 tax returns, or how does stock trading relate to tax returns...

Wasn't it Condi who said that this fiasco was a 'small inconvenience' to the applicants ?? I recently found a project (after many months) and am working for this new employer on EAD. However, I have not vacated my old apt....still paying rent and keeping it as my current one, and sharing accommodation with others in the new city where I am working....because of the only reason that I fear, which is an RFE.
Please let me know.

RFE shall not stop you from doing the right thing and as long as you have all the necessary documents and employment. If I were you, I would not hesitate to update my address and pay rent for my old apartment.

Since this thread is open and dont want to wast resouce on new thread. I want to ask people those who had already filed 485/EAD/AP that did anyone has taken photos at Walgreens.
I am getting $7.99 for taking 2 photos at Walgreens($48 for 2person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee. Whereas in Kinko's I am getting deal of $13.50 for first 2 photo and rest 4 photos for $13.50 ($54 for 2 person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee city area.
Now question besides money I want to know which one is worth taking chance for taking a picture interms of quality.

My company pays fixed amount 3500 ( for with 2 year agreement clause ) for the GC process and the same got exhuasted by the time i got my I 140 ( Expensive attorney) . For 485 i am paying from my pocket.

Need your advice. Filed I-485 on July 5th. I-140 is approved. Working with the employer for 6 yrs. Now that I filed for final stage, my employer wants me to sign a contract voluntarily that I should stay with them for 24 months. What are my legal options in state of CA? He wants to get 20K if I leave earlier than contract term. I signed it since he threatened me to revoke I-140. Can I backout after portability law kicks in.
